The regional children’s clinical hospital has expanded its capabilities, and now not only children receive medical care. During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the families of injured children from the war zone are brought to the hospital, so doctors save not only small patients, but also their parents. Therefore, today the hospital changed its purpose and name – it became the “Regional Medical Center for Family Health”. Oleksiy Vlasov, general director of the medical center, notes that the hospital is experiencing a heavy load of patients today from Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions, as well as from the southern regions of Dnipropetrovsk region, where the enemy continues daily shelling. Therefore, it is extremely important for doctors to keep children and adults in comfortable conditions. Intensive care wards in the intensive care unit need timely restoration and repair. The International Charitable Foundation of Oleksandr Petrovsky “Solidarity” helped in this. Yana Ivanilova, the vice-president of the foundation, said that, thanks to Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Petrovsky, the president of the “Solidarity” foundation, the floor was repaired by laying high-quality tiles in the large resuscitation hall and in a separate box for patients. In addition, the hospital needs other repairs: restoration of the corridor floor, walls and ceiling. Doctors provide medical assistance to the wounded and victims around the clock, so the International Charitable Foundation of Oleksandr Petrovsky “Solidarity” will continue to systematically support the medical base of health care institutions, and also calls on other patrons to join in helping and cooperating.
