For 10 years in a row, the Church ofThe birth of the Holy Mother of God. of the Holy Mother of God in Dnipro celebrates the temple holiday. The temple was named in honor of the Mother of God – Virgin Mary, who gave birth to the son of God. His name represents great respect and gratitude to all mothers. The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos was built in 2013 at the expense of Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Petrovskyi, president of the Solidarity International Charitable Foundation. Prior to the holiday, Archbishop Simeon of the Dnipro and Sicheslav Orthodox Church of Ukraine performed the divine liturgy in the church together with the clergy. The temple today is not only a place where people pray, perform services, perform rituals, the temple unites and inspires. Today, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine serves the people, by its actions it helps our defenders and temporarily displaced persons in every possible way. Since 2014, the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos has been sending chaplains to the front lines, as well as carrying out extensive educational and spiritual work, implementing its own social programs to support displaced people. All projects were made possible with the constant support of the International Charitable Foundation of Oleksandr Petrovsky “Solidarity”. The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos also takes care of children. There is a Sunday school at the church, and there is a children’s playground on the territory of the complex. People find peace here, because the territory of the temple is carefully arranged and equipped, open to everyone. The Orthodox Church of Ukraine – together with the people, honors holidays, embodies faith, helps the needy and brings our victory closer.
