On February 10, 2024, the Dnipropetrovsk region held the All-Ukrainian sports competition for war veterans and military personnel “Strong of Ukraine”. The guys showed true indestructibility and tempered spirit at the tournament. Veterans from the Dnepropetrovsk region, Poltava region, Kharkov region, Chernihiv region and other regions came to the first stage of the second season of the competition. Competitions for veterans and military personnel “Strongmen of Ukraine” were held on the initiative of the Strongman Federation of Ukraine and with the support of the regional military administration, deputies of the Political Party “Servant of the People” and the International Charitable Foundation of Alexander Petrovsky “Solidarity”.
Veterans and military personnel competed in bench press, kettlebell lifting, rowing on a machine, tested their speed on an aerobike, and strongmen surprised those present with exercises with extreme weights.
