For the first time, on September 17, Ukraine celebrated Adoption Day, established by the Decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. For this holiday, children deprived of parental care and orphans from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast organized a bright event: games with animators, interesting contests, dances and finally – an exciting children’s performance “Wednesday Vacation Rock” in the genre of a fun musical pop-rock horror film. About 300 children from different parts of our region came to the Dnipropetrovsk Philharmonic. The Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration together with benefactors organized this adoption day celebration for them. The International Charitable Foundation of Oleksandr Petrovsky “Solidarity” together with partners joined the creation of the holiday. Yana Ivanilova, vice-president of the “Solidarity” foundation, noted: “we, together with our friends and our partners – the charity organization “Arena” Sports Club, provided the opportunity to hold an animation.” There are more than 8,400 orphans and children deprived of parental care in our region. All of them need care and attention from benefactors and caring Ukrainians, so give joy to children.
