The device for vacuum therapy of wounds is one of the medical equipments that doctors of the main hospital base of the region desperately need. It helps medics save the limbs of the wounded. The equipment for the hospital was handed over by representatives of the Oleksandr Petrovsky International Charity Fund “Solidarity” together with their partner – Serhiy Hrybkov, owner of the country complex “Lake Park”, with which they also systematically help our defenders.
Serhiy Ryzhenko, the general director of the medical institution, noted: “These vacuum devices have preserved thousands of limbs of our soldiers who are sent to the hospital today. These devices give the boys a chance to keep their limb and have a full life.”
Every day, the medical facility endures a heavy load, because seriously injured people are brought here. According to doctors, one such vacuum device is necessary for each patient who has a lesion. Sometimes two such devices are used for one person, if it is necessary to save both the upper and lower limbs at the same time.
