Saint Nicholas Day is celebrated in Ukraine on December 19. During the large-scale war, this day acquired a new meaning, because all caring Ukrainians who help and do good deeds follow the example of Saint Nicholas. This day is also honored in the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos. On the Day of St. Nicholas, a divine service was held in the church. Sunday school pupils prepared a creative gift for visitors. And all the children who were present in the church received sweets from Saint Nicholas. Among the visitors of the church are forced migrants, because a volunteer center has been operating on the territory of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos for 9 months, which is supported by the “Solidarity” foundation. The abbot of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos Vitaliy Lopushanskyi thanked the patron of the church – Oleksandr Petrovskyi, the president of the International Charity Fund “Solidarity”. Today, St. Nicholas Day is a holiday of volunteers and benefactors who do everything in their power to bring our victory closer.
