Humanitarian aid to the Volunteer Hub

03.06.2022

The Oleksandr Petrovsky International Charitable Foundation “Solidarity” once again handed humanitarian aid to the Volunteer Hub, which was created by the Clergy of the Donetsk Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine together with the evacuated residents of Mariupol. More than 2,000 displaced people come to this volunteer hub every day. It is not the first time that the Oleksandr Petrovsky International Charitable Foundation “Solidarity” provides humanitarian aid, taking into account the urgent needs of the center. This time, representatives of the foundation handed over sunflower oil and sugar. According to Yana Ivanilova, vice president of the Oleksandr Petrovskyi International Charitable Foundation “Solidarity”, such assistance will be systemic. In the volunteer hub, people who were forced to flee the war receive food, bedding, hygiene products, clothes and toys. In addition, this volunteer team from Mariupol actively helps military personnel. In addition to comprehensive humanitarian aid, the Volunteer Hub started to provide a new free service – legal consultation. In the hub, displaced persons can also turn to God’s help. The clergy of the Donetsk Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine conducts services for the displaced. The Clergy of the Dnipropetrovsk Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine unites with its spiritual brothers. “In this center, people can turn to God, communicate with priests, and feel spiritual support. A real family has formed in the volunteer hub,” noted Vitaliy Lopushanskyi, Chancellor of the Dnipropetrovsk Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The volunteer hub sincerely thanks the “Solidarity” foundation for their help and support. Today, everyone’s help is important on the humanitarian front, because only together do we bring victory closer!
