This year, the International Children’s Day is taking place in completely non-childlike realities. And today, more than ever, it is important to protect and take care of our children, because they are the future. The Oleksandr Petrovsky International Charity Foundation “Solidarity” gave joy to children with special needs. The representatives of the foundation visited their little friends – pupils of the Dnipropetrovsk orphanage-boarding home and congratulated them on the International Day of Children’s Protection. As usual, they brought them goodies. According to Yana Ivanilova, vice president of the Oleksandr Petrovsky International Charity Fund “Solidarity”, the children do not have enough vitamins, so they ask for fruits and vegetables to be brought to them. “We brought strawberries, pears and cabbage – what the children really wanted. The first day of summer was greeted thematically – with juicy summer delicacies.” Since the beginning of the full-scale war, special children from Donetsk region have been evacuated to the Dnipropetrovsk orphanage-boarding home. A long forced move, a change of institution, which was, in fact, my native home, did not come easily. Representatives of the Oleksandr Petrovskyi International Charitable Foundation “Solidarity” and the staff of the boarding house made every effort to make these children feel no worse than at home. It is very important that children grow up and be educated not under enemy fire, but in peace and harmony. This is why Ukrainians united – for the sake of victory, peace and a happy future for our children.<\/p>\n
