On the first competition day of the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the Ukrainian junior Olympians won the first award. In a consolation final for the third place 17-year-old athlete from the Dnieper defeated Frenchman Roman Valadier-Picard.
