Ukraine will strike on the Russian Federation visa regime
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is debating visa issues with Russia. People's deputies are currently evaluating the number of votes in favor of such an innovation. In addition, officials are working on the above-mentioned event. This information was reported by the first deputy head of the People's Front faction, Andriy Teteruk.
He stated that as soon as Ukraine receives a visa-free regime with European countries, the question would be immediately to enter a visa regime with Russia. In his view, such a move would be a reasonable response to the Kremlin's aggressive actions in eastern Ukraine.
We will remind, the initiator of the probable visa regime from the Russian Federation was Arseniy Yatsenyuk and his party "People's Front". The former prime minister tried to launch the initiative in October last year. The impetus for this bill was the detention of Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko by Russian law enforcement in Moscow. He was charged with espionage. The detainee is still in custody in one of the Russian detention facilities.
However, Petro Poroshenko's party then voted against the innovation. Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin also said his speech. In his view, the visa regime will play against Ukrainian workers working in Russia. Like, they will be out of earnings, or they will be forced to make Russian documents. In October 2016, the issue remained on the agenda without further ado.
