May 19-21, 2018, the folk dance ensemble "Orlyatko", with the support of the International Charitable Foundation "Alexander Solidarity", will hold the 22nd International Children's Folklore Festival in Dnipro - "Orlyatko Gathers Friends". The main events of the festival will take place at the Dnipropetrovsk Opera and Ballet Theater on May 21 and will start at 6.30pm. This year organizers have invited and expect participants from the following cities:

The first festival was held in 1994. The founder of the festival is the folk dance ensemble "Orlyatko" (the artistic director is the Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine - Alexander Vitolovich Sokolovsky). During the 21 years of the festival, Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk) was attended by more than 20 thousand participants, which is 130 groups from different countries of the world. The festival will start on May 19 in the small hall of the Dnepropetrovsk Philharmonic. Starts at 16.00.
Oleksandr Petrovsky's International Solidarity Foundation is always ready to support major cultural and arts festivals in the Dnieper region, and believes that holding major international forums at the regional center promotes the Dnieper in Europe and the World and helps our youth develop in the cultural direction.
