In Donetsk region on New Year's Eve no cases of violation of the law were detected
In all, 650 messages from residents were received by police in the region, 71 of which are indicative of a criminal offense. The total number of calls to major cities dropped by a third. Due to the powerful prevention in the streets of the frontline region, no murder, beating, robbery, robbery were allowed.
175 streets were patrolled by streets of Donetsk region, more than 30 highway patrols, 26 rapid response teams - only 278 police outfits.

- This is the only position where the increase has taken place; in the rest of the positions we see a decrease and quite a significant one. For example, the number of allegations of hooliganism decreased by 70%, which indicates effective preventive work in the cities we serve, - said Olga Fagaulina, Head of Unit 102 of the Office of Information Support of GNUNP in Donetsk region.
More than 15% of calls to 102 were informational. 12 employees of the Unified Analytical Service Center received messages from citizens on New Year's Eve.
In general, more than 1,500 law enforcement officers monitored the streets of the region from December 31 to January 1.
Highways were patrolled by road users. During the day no road accident with the victims was allowed. 103 traffic violations were detected.
Thanks to the powerful prevention in the streets of the frontline region, no robbery was committed, the fact of grievous bodily harm, robbery. The only one on New Year's Eve night a domestic conflict reported from the hospital was revealed "in hot pursuit".
For example, on January 1, at 03:00, the Mariinsky Police Department received a report of medical assistance for a 27-year-old man, who, while intoxicated, was taken to Kurakhove hospital with a stabbing knife wound.
While the victim was recovering, police established where he was celebrating the New Year, left the place and detained a suspected 26-year-old resident of Kurakhove, who was also in a state of intoxication. The crime weapon - the knife - was removed.
Police work on New Year's Eve was organized and coordinated by the head of SUNP in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin. His deputies and all heads of regional head offices were in charge and were inspecting the territorial units of the Donetsk police. Clear control over the organization of the work of law enforcement in all cities of the region has allowed to maintain a quiet operational state in Donetsk.
