Next year, patrol police will work in Ukraine
Yevgeny Zhukov, who is the head of the patrol police department, told about the most important plans for the next year, among which it is planned to create traffic patrol police, as well as special tactical groups.
According to Zhukov, the work of road patrol police will greatly increase the level of law enforcement on the roads of Ukraine, as well as properly distribute the load of patrol police. It is planned to involve 2600 personnel in the traffic police, who will form 324 patrols. The recruitment of these employees is planned in two phases over the next year. The recruiting period for the Highway Patrol Police has been agreed in advance, according to which the first selection phase will last until August 1, 2017 and the second until December 1, 2017.
In addition, Yevgeny Zhukov announced the planned start of tactical support for patrol police next year. The main task of the newly formed groups will be to respond promptly to any force majeure situations that will occur during the main patrol police force. Currently, tactical groups are to be set up in Kiev, Kharkiv, Odessa, Dnipro and Lviv. The total number of employees involved in tactical support will be 1,050.
