The Crimean Tatar channel will be funded by Ukraine
Ukraine will allocate funds from the budget to support the Crimean Tatar regional television channel. The law providing for the allocation of 30 million hryvnias for these needs and other needs of the ATR channel (as it is called) was signed by the President of Ukraine Poroshenko P.O.
Such a move could be caused not only by the political situation on the temporarily occupied Russian Federation of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, but by the fact that the aforementioned Crimean Tatar television channel announced its intention to move to Lithuania.
President Petro Poroshenko has decided to sign a bill tabled by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to amend the State Budget Code regarding measures to support the television and radio companies of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
