The visa-free regime for Ukrainians has become even closer
This news was reported by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. It is likely that we will see a dreamy and such a long-awaited drone at the end of December 2016. However, it is impossible to call such a term final, as all internal nuances in the EU have not yet been discussed.
A few days later, Poroshenko stated that by the end of November this year, visa-free status was in our pocket. The leader was so confident in his words that even with his rules to comment on the Russian media, he confirmed this news with the words "pass it to yourselves that by the end of this month we will be able to travel freely to Europe".
Recently, experts said that despite the loud statements of the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schultz, that the Ukrainians will be able to cross the border to Europe very soon, the issue of visa waiver will not be resolved as quickly as one would like. As expected, no visa waiver document was created at the 18th EU-Ukraine Summit. In Brussels, they assure that the Ukrainian authorities have fulfilled all the requirements and carried out the necessary reforms, and now Europe has to settle its internal moments and make a final decision. Experts believe the event should be counted on early next year after the new US President Donald Trump comes to power.
