Police apprehended "tour operators" who stole apartments

In the evening, the client called the owner of the apartment and informed that he would stay for a few more days and provided allegedly personal information.

After the theft, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and began searching for the malefactors.

According to police, a 30-year-old native of Chernihiv region and a 31-year-old from Sumy met in the capital where they worked together. There, they saw a plan of easy production of money.
"The men were looking for a refined and comfortable apartment by the announcement," said Serhiy Volkov, Deputy Chief of the SUNP in Rivne Oblast. - With the owners, the younger of them stipulated that he rented a house only for a day, and then in two or three hours they both took out all the valuable things from there. Thus, in October, police established their involvement in up to five thefts in three other areas in a similar manner. "
On November 2, tour operators visited Rivne. However, there was a failure here, as the police promptly exposed them and detained them in the Vinnytsia region, where the men settled for another crime.
During the investigation, the victim recognized her abusers. In addition, in an apartment rented by men, they left things stolen from previous places. It turned out that they put the TV in a pawn shop. Police officers seized him and returned the owner for a receipt. The gas surface of the theft was mailed to Kharkiv, but it was also returned back.
Already in the police department have confessed to all the crimes committed and explained that they were going to end with such a "career" and regret the crime.
Whether they will judge the judges will be known after the pre-trial investigation is completed.
"The detainees were detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and reported suspected of committing a criminal offense," said Sergei Volkov. "The issue of their pre-trial detention is being resolved."
According to the article's sanction, they face up to five years in prison.
