Law for medical students
Poroshenko signed the law on employment of graduates of medical and pedagogical universities in exchange for priority enrollment.
This news was shared by the press service of the President of Ukraine himself. The report states that this law gives entrants the right to enter out of turn to higher educational establishments of medical or pedagogical direction. This is possible if an agreement is reached that the graduate has completed a specialty of at least three years in urban or other rural areas. The state wants to provide such graduates with free housing, with the possibility of using heating resources and lighting within the limits of certain norms.
The rest of the university graduates have complete freedom to choose their place of employment.
The law provides for the obligations of both parties to the contract. In particular, the client is obliged to recruit a graduate, in the event of refusal to comply with this paragraph, must reimburse the State Employment Service for the costs related to employment or payment of unemployment benefits. If a young specialist refuses to work out, or if he is dismissed because of a violation, then he himself will have to recover the cost of training and offset the cost of the customer for three years.
This legislative act will be a fact of bringing other normative acts in conformity with the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine (on ensuring the constitutional rights of citizens to work and prohibition of forced labor of citizens).
This law will be effective as of January 1, 2017.
The legislative act was approved by deputies of the Verkhovna Rada on October 6.
