Financial Literacy Course for Young Experts
The draw method identifies a list of questions for the qualifying games of the Young Literacy Expert Tournament. The draw was broadcast live on the Pedagogical Press portal as part of the tournament's opening.
"This competition is being held for the third time and it is a continuation of the work carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the National Bank of Ukraine, in cooperation with the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the Association of Banks of Ukraine and other financial organizations, which are responsible for improving the financial literacy of the population of Ukraine. for the students, because they are the future of our country. The purpose of the tournament is to evaluate, analyze and summarize the results of the level of knowledge of students of secondary schools of Ukraine who study the course "Financial Literacy". In addition, financial literacy is one of the key competencies identified in the Concept of the New Ukrainian School as the basic one for mastering all Ukrainian students.
"At a time when our school is preparing for big changes - from 2018, children will go to the first class of the New Ukrainian School, we need to prepare schools for these innovations. For each question that was determined for the qualifying games of the tournament, 2 teams were also selected by the draw method, which will prepare presentation materials based on it.
Presentation materials include: a team business card (no more than 5 minutes in video format) and a presentation of the question itself (no more than 25 slides, using audio, video, and presentation requirements with up to 15 minutes total audio presentation) .
