This performance was a charity event on its first day. The funds raised are being used to help the families of the soldiers who died in the ATO.
In 2017 alone, the Shevchenko Theater in the Dnieper held more than 50 charity events, and this is not the last, sure director of the theater - Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Petrovskaya.
Before the premiere, which took place on the Feast of Nicholas, for children made a real New Year's holiday. Various competitions, entertaining program, fairy-tale characters - all this appealed to both the children and their parents.
The Christmas tree and gifts made a good mood not only for the little guests of the holiday, but also for the employees of the Shevchenko Theater, which has its own Ukrainian Children's Theater, whose pupils also performed at this holiday.
And after the congratulations at the Dniprovsky Academic Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater T. Shevchenko hosted the premiere of the musical "There was a dog", staged on the basis of the Ukrainian folk tale, which is well known to all thanks to a wonderful cartoon of the same name.

The musical "There was a dog" can be seen on December 23 at 17:00, and from December 30 to January 8 the performance will delight the children of the Dnieper every day.
