An unusual exhibition of paintings will be held in the center of the Armenian culture of the Dnieper "Varduy"
The Vardui Armenian Cultural Center of the Dnieper is preparing to open an exhibition of paintings by a very unusual, delicate and romantic artist Olga Valevskaya.
Olga Valevskaya is a doctor by education, but since 1996 her life has been inseparable from painting. About this hobby, which has long become a part of her worldview, Olga says:
- Why paintings? I went to it and did not notice myself. Probably, it's like a "disease" that has manifested itself (speaking the language of medicine - exacerbated) every 10 years for the last 20 years ... The first exacerbation was around 1996, when I painted my first, very vivid picture with the help of children's watercolors. " Dancing Blacks. " By the way, this picture has always been in my workplace ever since. The second exacerbation was in 2005.
Gouache and brush created wonderful fabulous houses ... And in October 2015 I with an irresistible desire went to the studio of artist Yulia Tarasenko (Dnipro) to conquer the oil!
Julia specified where I studied before coming to her studio? But I had nothing to answer because I had never received special education. What you will see is training in the process of creative impulse…
The exhibition will feature paintings from different periods of Valevskaya's work.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on December 16 at 12-00 at the address: Dnipro, ul. 13. The exhibition will be open until December 23. Admission is free.
